Q1

When do I need to submit my RSVP to attend the wedding? Please RSVP by no later than 5 April 2025.

Q2

I am travelling to South Africa for the wedding, which airport should I land at? Please land at OR Tambo International Airport.

Q3

How far is the wedding venue from the airport? The wedding venue and on-site accommodation is about a 50 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport.

Q4

Is there accommodation available at the wedding venue? Yes. The wedding venue is renowned for its popular accommodation. Please follow the "Stay" tab on the wedding website for more information.

Is there transport available on site at the accommodation? Unfortunately not. Guests are encouraged to travel to the wedding venue with their vehicles (preferably SUVs or 4x4s) due to the accommodation on-site at the wedding venue being a distance from the amenities.

Q6

Are children invited to the wedding? Whilst we absolutely love and adore your little ones, the wedding will be an adults only event. The wedding week and weekend will also consist of activities for adults but if you will be travelling to South Africa with your kids and require baby-sitting services for the wedding day/night please contact the bride.

What should I wear to the wedding? Please wear semi-formal attire in shades of all Brown. Refer to the Look Book on the "Details" tab of our wedding website for inspiration. The venue has grass lawns so thin/stiletto heels are not encouraged. For the days leading up to and after the wedding, pack a pair of comfortable shoes for the sporty activities. Please avoid wearing any white on the wedding day.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue? Yes, the wedding venue and the accommodation both have ample parking available.

Q9

The accommodation at the wedding venue is sold out, what should I do? Please contact the Bride & Groom who have extra accommodation reserved in their name or consider checking into Mint Resorts at the Blyde which is close to the wedding venue and is where the couple will be spending the weekend following the wedding.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one to the wedding? If your invite specifically includes a plus one then they are included in our guest count. If your invite does not include a plus one, please note that numbers for the wedding are limited but we would love for all our guests to be comfortable so please contact the couple regarding any additional requests for plus ones so that we can see if the venue can accommodate you.

Do I need transport from the chapel to the reception venue? No. The ceremony, canapé and reception area are all within close walking distance of each other.

Q12

I have special dietary requirements, what should I do? Please indicate your dietary requirements when submitting your RSVP for the wedding.

Q13

I am travelling from out of town, what will the weather be like? January is South Africa's second month of summer with maximum temperatures of around 28°C and lows in the evening of around 16°C. There are usually 13 days of warm rain in January with the rest of the month being sunny with moderate heat and humidity.

Q14

I am staying at the on-site accommodation for the wedding week, what should I pack? In addition to your semi-formal, all brown outfit for the wedding, please pack two smart casual outfits, an athletic outfit, a swimsuit, trainers, universal plug adapters and your toiletries.

I'll be joining for the wedding weekend, what should I pack? In addition to the items at Question 14, please pack resort wear for Friday and Saturday as well as a casual outfit for check-out on Sunday.
